Molina Medical recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its new clinic in Citrus Heights. At the event, Molina kicked off its Immunizations 4 All/Vacunas para Todos campaign, in which Molina Medical members can receive free immunizations through August 31.

The new facility is more than three times the size of its former location and now the largest of Molina’s clinics in Sacramento County. The clinic offers behavioral health services and pain management. It is also proud to be one of the few medical offices that offer accommodations for patients with disabilities and activity limitations, such as an adjustable exam table, a digital 800-pound wheelchair scale and low reception counters. Additionally, the facility will feature a Kids’ Corner, a complimentary on-site supervised play room for patients with appointments, in the near future.

Special guests included Landon Wolf, District Representative from the office of Senator Jim Nielsen, Councilmember Sue Frost from Citrus Heights and Citrus Heights’ Chamber Representative Renee Larscheid. Zackary Sanabia, vice president of Molina clinic operations and new initiatives, and Richard Chambers, plan president of Molina Healthcare of California, spoke at the event. Dr. Cleo, Molina’s popular cat doctor mascot, was also at the celebration to greet the approximately 40 community members who attended.
