Arrests Made for Gold River Vandalism

Shortly after 11:05 p.m. on August 15, 2016, the Sheriff’s Communication Center received a 911 call regarding vandalism at the 11000 block of Tunnel Hill Way.

Deputies and detectives responded to the scene, where they located multiple residences and vehicles that had been vandalized. In addition to the initial report of the neighborhood vandalism, it was found that the Gold River Discovery Center, the local elementary school, had also been targeted.  The vandalism included broken windows, damaged vehicles, racist graffiti and swastikas painted on walls, garages and doors. 

As a result of the investigation, arrest warrants were issued for six subjects.  All of them have been charged for felony vandalism (594 pc) and conspiracy to commit a crime (182 pc).

Arrested were Andrew Holmes (18) of Gold River; Adin Howardgustin (18) of Gold River; Nathanial Covarrubias (18) of Rancho Cordova; Finley Ursino (18) of Fair Oaks; Eric Tennyson (18) of Gold River; and a 17-year-old male juvenile.
