Golden State Water Company’s annual Operation Gobble took place on Monday, November 14 at Rancho Cordova City Hall. Golden State Water Company donated 300 turkeys to the City of Rancho Cordova and Senator Tom Berryhill, which in turn were donated to local organizations.

The Cordova Community Food Locker, Rancho Cordova Kiwanis Club, and Rancho Cordova Elks Lodge #2484 received the turkeys to feed families in need this Thanksgiving.

The Operation Gobble program will distribute more than 8,400 Thanksgiving turkeys throughout the month of November to non-profit organizations that benefit local families and individuals with limited resources. Since the program’s inception in 1990, Golden State Water has already provided more than 216,000 turkeys through partnerships with elected officials and community organizations.
