Summerset Senior Living Throws a Big Celebration

RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - Wearing denim overalls, flannels shirts and boots, staff at Summerset Senior Living of Rancho Cordova hosted resident seniors and guests to its harvest-themed and greatly cherished 5th Year Anniversary Hoedown on October 17.

Special invited performers for the evening were country music band 'Big Trouble' and the Associated Square Dancers of Superior California. The rugged country vocals and gently picked steel guitar melodies swelled listeners’ emotions and soothed calming life until sunset in one wing of the residence, while merry dancing cheered the other side during the memorable autumn night.

Randi Beasley, Summerset owner and Corporate Marketing Director was excited to see that “the event is growing by the year and helping to make the community more acquainted and integrated with the senior residence.”

In all, Summerset organizers treated residents to a harvest time celebration straddling summer and fall seasons and reliving and celebrating the nostalgia of simpler days and the many sweet moments still left to come.

Rancho Cordova City Councilmember Linda Budge presented Beasley, accompanied by her daughter Carlie Beasley, Community Relations Director, with a proclamation plaque recognizing that “Summerset is the first senior care organization to build facilities in modern day Rancho Cordova,” and “Summerset Senior Living is committed to improving the lives of seniors in our community.”

The event finalized as owner Rick Beasley joined Randi and staff with a ribbon cutting, courtesy of Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce, and participating Fair Oaks Honorary Mayor Jacob Giorgi, his wife, Michelle Giorgi and Jimmy Larkin, Jr. Honorary Mayor.
