SAN JOSE, CA (MPG) – Rancho Cordova’s newest mixed martial arts gym Apex Predator is at it again.
On May 22 at the American Cup Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament, Mitchell Middle School student and Rancho Cordova native Edgar Alberto won gold, dominating his competition en route to his second championship medal in as many tries.
Apex Predator owner/head coach Rudy Vidaurri is now three for three and undefeated since opening his gym six months ago. Alberto’s teammate Joey Sandoval also won his division in his very first tournament with a submission Vidaurri taught him on the week of the competition.
