ORANGEVALE, CA (MPG) - The Orangevale Chamber of Commerce came to mix, mingle and celebrate the new ownership of Jan’s Lounge located at 9222 Greenback Lane, with an official ribbon cutting ceremony!

The new owners, who revived and updated the iconic hangout, were all smiles as friends, local business owners and chamber members gathered to celebrate.

“Jan’s Lounge is an entertainment bar with a country vibe,” explained Steve Santich, one of the partners. “We were excited to purchase Jan’s Lounge so that the iconic Orangevale bar could live on as a welcoming, hometown bar for everyone.” 

After months of waiting, they officially opened their doors to the public on April 1 to showcase a “new and improved” interior including a full bar, cold beer, food, darts, shuffleboard, sports on nine big screen TVs, DJ trivia, country line dancing lessons, dancing and live music too! There is always something fun going on seven days a week! 

Sunday: Karaoke

Monday: Industry Night (drink specials)

Tuesday: Live music (check schedule for performers) from 6pm-9pm

Wednesday: DJ Trivia from 7pm-8:30pm

Thursday: Country Dance Night from 7pm-midnight

Friday and Saturday: Live music (country, classic rock, southern rock, rock, and blues).

Jan’s is open Monday through Friday 10:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Saturdays and Sundays 9 a.m to 2 a.m. Check it out!
