Crowds Max Out Park Concert

CARMICHAEL, CA (MPG) - Rejoicing in cooler weather, Saturday’s Carmichael Park concert audience hit a new record with more than 2000 fans in attendance.
Funk/rock big band Hipper Than Hip was the attraction.
The event kicked the music season back to high gear after triple-digit temperatures postponed a July 15 show and curbed concert attendance the following weekend.
Carmichael native Todd Morgan – with backing group the Emblems – headline this Saturday. Remaining 2023 acts are:
August 12: On Air (classic hits).
August 19: Latin Touch (Latin).
August 26: Dyana and the Cherry Kings (rockabilly).
September 8 (Friday): Wasted Space (rock) 6 pm.
On September 24 (Sunday) Todd Morgan and the Emblems will entertain at Gibbons Park, 4701 Gibbons Drive, Carmichael. Downbeat is 5 pm.
