CARMICHAEL, CA (MPG) – Chautauqua Playhouse will present “Rumpelstiltskin”, an adaptation written especially for Chautauqua by Laura Luke, opening on January 20 at the Playhouse.  The show will run on Saturdays at 1:00 pm through February 3. The performances are held at the Chautauqua Playhouse, 5325 Engle Road in the La Sierra Community Center in Carmichael.  Admission is $8-10 for general seating.

In this adaptation of the Brothers Grim tale, the lovely miller’s daughter, Sabrina, is brought to the castle after her father brags she can spin straw into gold. She enlists the help of Rumpelstiltskin to complete her impossible task...but will she be able to pay the price?
