CARMICHAEL, CA (MPG) - Jill Kelley Widmann, a Carmichael resident of nearly 60 years, has announced the publication of the third book in her children’s trilogy, “The Adventures of Lambkin the Cat.”
Follow the adventures of Lambkin and her big sister, Boo. Based on the story of a real-life rescue kitty, these books teach the true meaning of kindness and compassion for all of nature, as well as depicting the fun and whimsical antics of these adorable cats. The young and the young at heart are sure to enjoy these two cat sisters.

Charming and colorful photos and artwork add to the magic of all three books. Additionally, a special treat of a word puzzle completes each book.
The first book is “The Adventures of Lambkin the Cat,” followed by “Little Lost Lambkin” and “The Wisdom of Boo.”

Widmann currently resides in Sacramento. She is an advocate when it comes to animal rights. She has acquired hands-on experience with handling and caring for wildlife at the Wildlife Care Center in Sacramento, Widmann said, where she completed an internship in wildlife care.
Inspiration for her books grew from the love of writing Widmann’s mother shared with her. Her mother, Lois A. Widmann, was also a published writer and an animal lover and had a poetry section in the Carmichael Times when Widmann was a child, according to Widmann.
