CARMICHAEL, CA (MPG) - The community is invited to the nonprofit Carmichael Parks Foundation’s fifth Dinner in the Park on Saturday, Sept. 7.
“Dinner in the Park is truly a celebration of the generosity and support that Carmichael Parks Foundation gets from so many members of the Carmichael community,” said Heidi Hull, a foundation board member and the Dinner in the Park event chair. “As their biggest fundraiser, proceeds from this event allow them to continue their commitment to expanding recreational opportunities for everyone through youth scholarships, new program development and improvements to the 13 parks of Carmichael.”
Enjoy music and wine in Carmichael’s Sutter-Jensen Community Garden and stroll down the tree-lined trail to the Charles Jensen Botanical Garden for a gourmet meal by Hawks Restaurant. The event starts at 5 p.m. Sept. 7. Dinner will be at 7 p.m. and a live auction follows at 8 p.m.
