CARMICHAEL, CA (MPG) - A two-ribbon ceremony last week opened Arden Arcade offices for the Capital Valley Marketing agency.

Because owner Celia Surridge is a member of both the Rancho Cordova Area Chamber of Commerce and the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce, both organizations converged and satin ribbons were slashed in tandem.

Wielding two sets of giant shears, Surridge and her mother, Mary Coughlin, did the honors. Her son, Adam, and husband, Adam Surridge, loaned extra scissor muscle.

“A double-ribbon cutting is a first for us,” noted a Carmichael Chamber of Commerce director. “We hope it means doubled success for this business.”
