CARMICHAEL, CA (MPG) - The Kiwanis Club of Carmichael Foundation has officially opened its 2025 Community Impact Grant Cycle, making $15,000 in funding available to local organizations working to improve the lives of residents in the greater Carmichael area.
Nonprofit organizations, schools and charitable groups are invited to apply for grants in the amounts of $2,500, $5,000 or $7,500. The application period is open now through July 31, at 5 p.m. Funding announcements will be made by the end of September.
The Community Impact Grants are funded through proceeds from several popular Kiwanis events, including the annual Crab Feed, Taste of Carmichael, Big Day of Giving campaigns and the club’s longtime traditions, the Easter and 4th of July pancake breakfasts.

Grant funding can be used for a range of community-focused efforts. Priority will be given to programs that align with the Kiwanis mission to “serve the children of the world,” as well as initiatives in the following areas: youth programs and services, education and career readiness, support for working adults and seniors, recreational and family-oriented activities, school enrichment and classroom-based projects, health, wellness and safety, environmental education and facility or equipment improvements.
The application process is straightforward and requires project details, a proposed budget and documentation showing the program’s impact, alignment with Kiwanis values, and community benefit.
Funded projects must be completed within 12 months of receiving the grant.
Organizations needing assistance with the application process can contact the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael Foundation at [email protected].
