CARMICHAEL, CA (MPG) – Mission Oaks Recreation and Parks District recently celebrated its 50 years of service by honoring their many relationships with those in the community who have supported their mission. The celebration was held at their Gibbons Park center.
A room full of grateful staff showed their appreciation for dozens of community leaders that attended the gathering. Many of the relationships began all the way back to the inception of the district. Others in attendance were local business leaders and political leaders who have stepped up to keep the district growing and serving countless families of Carmichael over the years.
The event was followed by local music and dancing in the park open to the public.
There are now 11 parks within the district. To find out more about your local park go to morpd.com. If you would like to send them a “Thank You” for their 50 years of service, go to https://www.morpd.com/contact-us
